| Reverse description | Central field bears a prominent five-line Latin religious inscription in bold capitals: SERVA NOS VIA PERIMUS, with the date 1660 below and the mintmaster's initials C-B beneath a small crown, all enclosed within a beaded inner border. A grotesque mask or face ornament appears at the top between the inscription field and the outer legend. The encircling Latin legend, derived from Psalm 130 (De Profundis), reads around the full periphery of the coin, reflecting the desperate political and military circumstances of Barcsai's reign. |
