The central upper area carries the ducal coat of arms surmounted by a crown, flanked by the series designation and serial number, below which the denomination 'Ein Thaler' is set in large Gothic script; the issuing authority text and date of authorizing law appear beneath, followed by two manuscript signatures and a small anti-counterfeiting notice in the lower margin. |
