| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in dark ink on plain paper with an ornate typographic border enclosing allegorical vignettes: a female figure of Justice with scales at left and Mercury with caduceus at right, each set within arched niches. The central upper area carries the ducal coat of arms surmounted by a crown, flanked by the series designation and serial number, below which the denomination 'Ein Thaler' is set in large Gothic script; the issuing authority text and date of authorizing law appear beneath, followed by two manuscript signatures and a small anti-counterfeiting notice in the lower margin. |
