Reverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Francis I (Holy Roman Emperor) facing right, rendered in high relief in the Baroque manner, wearing armor with ornate pauldrons and an ermine-trimmed mantle visible at the truncation. The emperor's flowing periwig is depicted with great detail. The circular legend FRANCISCUS D • G • ROM • IMP • SEMP • AVG • arcs around the upper and lateral periphery, acknowledging his title as Emperor of the Romans, forever Augustus. The engraver's signature I. L. OEXLEIN. F. is inscribed along the lower inner rim below the bust truncation.
