Obverse description The city arms of Weissenburg am Rhein displayed within an ornate oval shield at center, depicting a fortified gate with two crenellated towers above an arched portal, all set against a hatched field. The shield is framed by elaborate foliate and scroll cartouche work in the baroque style. A circular legend in Latin characters surrounds the central device, separated from the coin's beaded border by a plain raised inner ring.
