| Obverse description | Central field displays the papal emblems comprising the crossed keys of Saint Peter surmounted by the papal tiara (triregnum), all set above a heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Ferrara mint official Giacomo Spagnoli. The design is framed by decorative foliate scrollwork flanking the central composition. A beaded inner border runs along the coin's periphery.
