| 裏面の説明 | A bold Latin scriptural inscription is arranged in five lines across the centre of the field, enclosed within a richly worked Baroque cartouche of scrolling acanthus foliage. The cartouche is surmounted by a rolled volute at the apex and terminates in further foliate scrollwork at the base. The date 1687 appears as the final line of the inscription within the cartouche. The milled edge border frames the entire composition. No exergue line is present; the design fills the field with characteristic Roman Baroque exuberance. |
