| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the elaborate heraldic arms of Pope Innocent XI (Benedetto Odescalchi), displaying a crowned shield quartered with an eagle and a lion passant, surmounted by the papal tiara and crossed keys — the traditional symbols of pontifical authority. The shield is set within an ornate baroque cartouche with foliate flourishes. The circular legend reads INNOCENTIVS XI PONT MAX, distributed around the periphery, with a reeded border encircling the entire design. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a bold five-line Latin inscription — MELIVS / EST DARE / QVAM / ACCIPERE — centered in the field within an open wreath of palm branches, their fronds elegantly arching inward from either side and tied at the base with a decorative ribbon or bow. The inscription, a scriptural motto drawn from Acts 20:35, proclaims the virtue of generosity. The coin is framed by a reeded outer border consistent with the milled technique of the Roman mint under Innocent XI. |
