The inscription is arranged in sweeping diagonal bands across the field, framed by a prominent pellet-and-bead border. The deeply struck, bold letterforms are set against a flat, unadorned field consistent with the hammered coinage tradition of the Khoqand Khanate. The irregular flan edge and slight die shift are characteristic of hand-struck issues from this mint. |
