Obverse description Hammered silver field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in bold Naskh script, reading the royal honorific titles of the sultan. The inscription, which fills the entire flan, reads 'Al-Mu'ayyad bi-ta'yid al-Rahman Shams al-Dunya wa'l-Din Abu'l-Nasr', meaning 'Aided by the support of the Merciful, Sun of the World and the Faith, Father of Victory'. The script is arranged in horizontal registers across the irregularly shaped round flan, with characteristic angular and cursive strokes typical of Gujarati sultanate coinage. The legends are deeply struck, with the coin displaying the characteristic flat hammered surfaces of medieval Indian Islamic issues.

Reverse description Hammered silver field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in bold Naskh script enclosed within an eight-pointed star frame, a distinctive ornamental device characteristic of Gujarat Sultanate coinage. The central inscription reads 'Muzaffar Shah bin Mahmud Shah al-Sultan', identifying the ruler as Muzaffar Shah, son of Mahmud Shah, Sultan. A regnal year in Arabic numerals appears within the design field. The script fills the coin's surface in bold, deeply struck strokes, with the star border providing a structured cartouche around the central legend.
