Reverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic legend in two registers divided by a horizontal line, reading 'As-sultan Muzaffar Shah' in the upper register and 'khallad Allah mulkahu' (May God perpetuate his reign) in the lower register. The bold Naskh lettering is deeply struck and characteristic of the Gujarat Sultanate mint style. The reverse flan is irregular and shows typical hammered fabric with slight surface wear and patina consistent with billon alloy coinage of the early sixteenth century.
