Pir Muhammad ibn Luqman ruled a short-lived Taghaytimurid splinter domain in the aftermath of Timur's death in 1405 — a moment when his vast empire fractured almost immediately into competing successor claims. The Taghaytimurids were a minor branch scrambling for legitimacy in that chaos, and their coin output was correspondingly thin. Album 2349.2 is among the rarer attestations of the type.
