Obverse description Entire field occupied by a three-line Arabic inscription in bold, angular script, with the honorific title 'Nasir' appearing in the uppermost register, positioned above the Hijri date. The date numerals, reading '٨٨٢' (882 AH / 1478 CE), are prominently struck in the lower portion of the field, set slightly lower than the title above. The legends are rendered in a characteristic Sultanate Naskh style, with thick strokes filling the flan. The coin is struck on an irregular, roughly circular flan typical of hammered copper coinage of the Gujarat Sultanate.
