Reverse description Multi-line Arabic legend occupying the entire field, enclosed within a double circular border of criss-crosses and dots, consistent in style with the obverse. The inscription bears the Sunni kalima and royal epithets affirming the sultan's authority as a servant of the Commander of the Faithful. The text is arranged in horizontal registers in angular Naskh script, as is customary on Bengal Sultanate tanka coinage of this period.
