Obverse description Central field filled with the ruler's name and titles in bold, fluid Naskh-style Persian script, densely arranged across multiple lines to occupy the entire flan. The inscription renders the regnal name and honorifics of Sultan Nasir al-Din Mahmud Shah III of Gujarat. Letters are boldly struck in high relief characteristic of hammered medieval Islamic coinage, with strokes interlocking across the field. No border ornament or marginal legend is present, the script itself commanding the entire coin surface.
