| Obverse description | Central field occupied by a boldly struck Arabic legend in multiple lines, rendered in the characteristic angular Naskh script employed on Gujarat Sultanate copper coinage. The inscription, struck in high relief typical of hammered manufacture, reads the Hijri regnal year. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, with the legend occupying nearly the entire field; no decorative border is present, and the surface displays the characteristic granular texture of a hand-struck copper tanka. |
