Reverse description The reverse field is fully covered by a multi-line Arabic inscription in bold Naskh script, arranged within a plain raised rim. The legend records the mint name and/or additional royal titulature of Nasir al-Din Mahmud Shah I, distributed across three registers filling the circular flan. The script is boldly engraved with characteristic Gujarat Sultanate calligraphic style, and the coin shows the slightly irregular outline and uneven strike typical of hammered copper coinage of the period. Green cuprite patination is present across the surface.
