| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is entirely epigraphic, filled with large, bold raised Persian script arranged across the field in multiple horizontal lines without a central motif, framed by a raised circular border. The inscription declares the coin's official status as a currency sealed and current in the reign of Muhammad Tughluq, described as a hopeful servant of God. The lettering is rendered in a vigorous Naskh style with thick strokes, characteristic of the Tughluq bronze tanka series. The flan edges are slightly irregular owing to the hammered production method. No additional ornamental devices are present. |
