| Obverse description | The obverse presents a densely packed field of bold raised Arabic and Persian script arranged in concentric registers, characteristic of Tughluq-era bronze coinage. The central field contains a multi-line Persian religious inscription affirming the legitimacy of the sultan's authority, rendered in a robust Naskh hand. An outer marginal legend encircles the central text, separated by a raised linear border. The legends reference the Delhi mint and the regnal year 732 AH (1332 CE). The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, typical of hammered provincial bronze issues of the period. |
