| Reverse description | Hammered silver field entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic inscription in bold Naskh script, identifying the issuing sultan and the mint. The legend is arranged in horizontal registers across the irregular flan, with deeply struck letterforms and occasional pellet ornaments serving as word separators or decorative fillers. The inscription records the royal titles and regnal information of Mohammed Shah II of the Bahmani Sultanate, consistent with the epigraphic typology of late fourteenth-century Deccani tanka coinage. No border or geometric frame is present, the calligraphy extending to the edge of the planchet. |
