| Reverse description | The reverse carries a multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script arranged horizontally across the field, recording the full royal titulature of the issuing sultan. The legend reads 'husain shah bin mahmud shah bin ibrahim shah sultan khulidat mamlakatahu' (Husain Shah son of Mahmud Shah son of Ibrahim Shah, Sultan, may his kingdom endure), establishing the dynastic lineage across three generations. The inscription is struck in high relief on the irregular billon flan with characteristic hammered execution. No mint name or additional decorative elements appear. The flat, unframed field is typical of Jaunpur Sultanate tanka coinage of this period. |
