Obverse description Hammered silver tanka with Arabic legends disposed in three horizontal registers across the field. The obverse bears the sultan's honorific titles and epithets in Naskh script, reading: al-Sultan al-Ghazi Ghiyath al-Dunya wa'l-Din Abu'l-Muzaffar. The inscription is bold and deeply struck, filling the square-framed field typical of Tughluq-era coinage, with dot separators between elements. The irregular flan exhibits the characteristic undulating edge of hand-struck medieval Indian coinage.
