Reverse description The reverse presents a further multi-line Arabic inscription arranged in two registers divided by a bold horizontal line, filling the entire field in the characteristic epigraphic style of the Gujarat Sultanate mint. The legend records the regnal and religious titles of the sultan along with the mint and Hijri date formula, rendered in a robust Naskh hand with deeply cut strokes. The hammered flan displays a rough, irregular edge and an uneven surface consistent with hand-struck copper coinage of fifteenth-century India. Green and brown patination covers the surface, testament to the coin's considerable age.
