Reverse description Reverse field entirely occupied by a multi-line Arabic religious and caliphal legend in naskh script, arranged in horizontal registers across the hammered billon flan. The inscription invokes the Abbasid caliph Abu'l Fath al-Mu'tasid Billah, affirming the legitimacy of Fath Khan's rule within the framework of Sunni caliphal authority. The legend fills the available field with bold, slightly irregular letterforms consistent with hand-cut dies of the mid-fourteenth century. Portions of the inscription may be weakly struck or partially off-flan due to the irregular planchet. No ornamental border or decorative framing device is present.
