Obverse description Hammered silver tanka of irregular round flan with bold Arabic legends filling the entire field in multiple lines, executed in the characteristic calligraphic style of the Bengal Sultanate. The obverse bears a multi-line central inscription reading the royal titles and name of the sultan in four horizontal lines. The lettering is deeply struck in a robust Naskh-influenced script typical of 14th-century Bengal coinage, with characters of varying size conforming to the irregular flan. No decorative borders or geometric frames are present; the inscription occupies the full surface of the die.
