The lettering is deeply struck on the large, irregularly shaped flan, with the script showing the regional Naskh style typical of late fifteenth-century Bengal mint practice. Portions of the legend approach the rim, reflecting the broad flan type that distinguishes this issue from the standard-flan coinage of the same sultan. |
