| 正面描述 | Hammered silver field entirely occupied by multi-line Arabic inscription in bold, deeply struck Naskh script, arranged in four or five registers across the flan. The legend proclaims the sultan's extensive royal titles and territorial epithets, referencing his conquest and suzerainty over Kamru, Kamta, Jajnagar, and Orissa. A small central pellet or boss is visible at the geometric centre of the coin. The lettering fills the field to the very rim, with no decorative border, characteristic of Bengal Sultanate tanka coinage of the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. The strike is bold though slightly irregular, reflecting hand-hammered production. |
