| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field filled with a multi-line Arabic inscription in Naskh script identifying the ruler as 'Sultan Husain Shah ibn Sayyid Ashraf al-Husayni', arranged in horizontal registers across the flan. The royal genealogical title asserting descent from the Prophet's family through Sayyid Ashraf al-Husayni is presented in the boldly struck, slightly irregular lettering typical of hammered Bengal Sultanate coinage. The reverse inscription complements the obverse by providing the full royal titulature of Ala al-Din Husain Shah. |
