| Obverse description | Irregular square flan of hammered copper, heavily worn, displaying a divided field with a raised horizontal band or line separating the upper and lower registers. The upper register retains faint traces of Arabic script legends, largely obliterated by wear and surface corrosion, referencing the royal title of Emperor Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar. The coin was struck under Akbar's authority in the Malwa region, bearing the denomination in tanka. The surface exhibits characteristic green patination consistent with long burial or circulation. The irregular edges and uneven flan are typical of Mughal hammered coinage of this period. |

| Reverse description | Plain or near-plain reverse field on an irregular square copper flan, showing the rough texture and tool marks characteristic of Mughal hammered coinage. Faint residual traces of inscription or design elements may be present but are largely indistinguishable due to extensive wear and surface corrosion. The flan displays the same green-brown patination visible on the obverse, consistent with the coin's age and burial environment. |
