Obverse description Hammered billon tanka with bold Arabic-script legends occupying the entire field, arranged in multiple horizontal registers without a formal border. The inscription, executed in a somewhat crude but vigorous Naskh hand typical of late Tughluq-period coinage, carries the royal titulature of Sultan Abu Bakr Shah. The flan is irregularly shaped with uneven edges characteristic of hand-struck medieval Indian coinage. Patches of blue-green cuprous patina are visible across the surface.
