Obverse description Central field features an ornate stylised lotus blossom in relief, enclosed within a square border bearing Tibetan legends on all four sides. The square cartouche is itself set within an outer decorative framework composed of floral and geometric ornamental motifs characteristic of traditional Tibetan artistic convention. The overall design follows the aesthetic of the Ganden Phodrang treasury issues.

Reverse description Central design features an eight-spoked dharma wheel (dharmachakra) in high relief at the centre, encircled by the eight Buddhist auspicious symbols (Ashtamangala): a white parasol, a conch shell, a treasure vase, a victory banner, a pair of golden fish, an endless knot, and a lotus flower, each positioned within the petals of a large eight-petalled lotus that fills the field. The arrangement follows traditional Tibetan iconographic convention, with each symbol rendered with characteristic stylisation. The composition is contained within a plain circular border.
