Obverse description Crude hammered field bearing the name and titles of Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II rendered in Nagari script, arranged in two lines separated by a horizontal dividing rule. The legends are boldly raised on an irregular flan with characteristic uneven surfaces typical of late 18th-century Bharatpur copper coinage. The script fills the available field with no decorative border.
