Kishangarh's copper coinage of this period persisted well after the state had effectively ceded monetary administration to British oversight — a bureaucratic lag common to smaller Rajputana states where local strikes continued largely for ceremonial and market familiarity reasons rather than fiscal necessity. The regal-style attribution to Sardul Singh places this issue within a narrow dynastic window.
Kishangarh is far better known to art historians than to numismatists, owing to its 18th-century school of Rajput miniature painting. The coinage rarely gets the same attention.
