| 背面描述 | Two sinuous Imperial five-clawed dragons, rendered in high relief with fine scale detail, face one another in a confronted arrangement, their bodies curling symmetrically around a central roundel containing the denomination 壹兩 (One Tael) in bold Chinese characters. A flaming pearl is depicted at the top between the two dragon heads, and stylized clouds and waves fill the lower field between the coiling tails. The upper legend reads HU-PEH PROVINCE in Latin characters, with Manchu script flanking the central roundel on either side, while the lower legend reads ONE TAEL. The design is framed by a beaded inner border with a plain raised outer rim, typical of the refined dragon coinage produced at the Wuchang Mint under the late Guangxu reign. |
