Descrizione del dritto	The obverse is printed in black with a green underprint and carries the bank title LONDRES Y ECUADOR in an arc above SOCIEDAD ANÓNIMA, centred at the top. A central guilloche panel bears the text VALE UN SUCRE in bold letterpress. To the left, a detailed heraldic vignette shows the coat of arms of the City of London flanked by dragons, with the motto DOMINE DIRIGE NOS on a ribbon below. To the right, a circular vignette presents the coat of arms of Ecuador surmounted by a condor. The denomination UN SUCRE appears in large open letters along the lower margin, with the place of issue Quito and spaces for date and authorising signatures below the central panel. The imprint of the American Bank Note Co. New York is visible at the lower right.
