Two figure-eight Enkhuizen mint marks appear on either side of the central device. The entire composition is framed within a decorative laurel wreath, itself enclosed by a raised beaded border. The design is characteristic of the hammered coinage style of the Dutch provincial mints of the early seventeenth century. |
