Reverse description Central field features the distinctive 'bezemstuiver' (broom stuiver) motif: a stylized crowned lily or broom-head radiating stripes in a fan pattern, flanked by the value numeral 'I' to the left and the letter 'S' to the right, denoting 1 Stuiver. Two figure-eight Enkhuizen mint marks appear on either side of the central device. The entire composition is framed within a decorative laurel wreath, itself enclosed by a raised beaded border. The design is characteristic of the hammered coinage style of the Dutch provincial mints of the early seventeenth century.
