| Reverse description | A long cross with anchor-shaped arm terminals and a floral motif at the center occupies the field, dividing the reverse legend into four segments. The cross is set within a beaded inner circle, itself inscribed within a quadrilobe, whose cusped lobes extend into the four quarters formed by the cross arms. The date 1499 appears within the legend, a feature characteristic of Philip the Handsome's monetary issues for Holland.
