| Obverse description | Central crowned quartered shield of arms displaying the heraldic devices of the Aspremont-Lynden family, the whole occupying most of the field of this irregularly shaped hammered flan. The numeral I appears to the left of the shield and the letter S to the right, serving as denomination indicators. A partial circular legend in Latin runs along the coin's periphery, partially obscured by the uneven flan edges. The engraving exhibits the characteristic shallow relief and imprecise striking typical of minor feudal billon coinage of the early seventeenth-century Low Countries. |
