正面铭文 KAROL D × G × RO IMP × Z HISP × REX
(Translation: Charles, by God`s grace Emperor of the Romans and King of Spain)
背面描述 Central field bearing the elaborate quartered royal arms of Charles V surmounted by an imperial crown, incorporating the heraldic quarterings of Castile, León, Aragon, Sicily, Austria, Burgundy, Brabant, Flanders, and Tyrol, rendered in the Gothic style typical of Netherlandish hammered coinage. The shield is set within a beaded inner circle, with two rampant lions as supporters partially visible at the sides. The circumferential Latin legend, separated by rosette or cross stops, runs around the outer border of the irregularly shaped flan.

附加信息

Charles V inherited Namur through the Burgundian Netherlands, and these small billon issues served the county's local exchange economy during a period when his administration was desperately managing coinage across dozens of semi-autonomous territories simultaneously. The Habsburgs' chronic shortage of small-denomination silver — a problem that plagued the Low Countries throughout the 1520s — almost certainly drove the brief two-year window of this particular issue.

GH#192-7 is not commonly encountered; Namur's output was modest compared to the larger Flemish mints.
