Obverse description Standing effigy of the archer king in frontal pose, depicted holding a bow in hand with a flaming standard to the left and a chakra symbol above. A degraded Brahmi legend encircles the field, with partial rendering of the royal name. The style is characteristic of the late Bengal-region dynastic coinage, with schematic, highly stylized treatment of the royal figure executed in low relief typical of hammered gold staters of the Samatata kingdom.
