Obverse description Standing effigy of an archer king facing right, rendered in a highly stylized South Asian artistic tradition, holding a bow and arrow in hand with an ankus (elephant goad) prominent in the field. A horse mark appears in the lower right of the field, serving as a dynastic or mint symbol. The surrounding field bears degraded Brahmi legends and subsidiary symbols arranged around the royal figure. The inscription 'Gopa' is partially legible within the legend. The overall design exhibits the characteristic flat, schematic hammered relief typical of late Bengali gold coinage of the early seventh century.
