Obverse description Crowned script letter 'S' counterstamp applied to the host coin's obverse field, the monogram appearing in raised relief within a recessed impression. The bold cursive 'S' surmounted by a royal crown is struck with authority into the host coin surface, serving as the official validation mark of the Saint Vincent colonial administration. The surrounding field retains the worn surface of the underlying host coin, obscuring any original design.

Obverse lettering S
Reverse description Retrograde cursive 'S' visible in raised relief within a rectangular incuse counterstamp punch, representing the mirror impression of the obverse counterstamp as it was driven through the host coin's planchet. The surrounding field is plain and heavily worn, consistent with the host coin's original reverse design having been largely effaced. This incuse reverse impression is characteristic of the Type II Saint Vincent stampee counterstamp series applied to circulating Spanish colonial or other silver host coinage.
