Obverse description Draped and armored bust of King Frederick III facing right, with long flowing hair, set within a beaded inner circle. The royal effigy is rendered in a Baroque portrait style typical of mid-17th century Scandinavian coinage. A continuous Latin legend encircles the bust, separated from the beaded inner circle. A second beaded ring is present along the outer rim.
