| Reverse description | Elaborate central shield of arms surmounted by a royal crown, quartered with the arms of Denmark and Norway and flanked by laurel branches, surrounded by a wreath of fourteen smaller oval escutcheons each bearing the heraldic device of a constituent territory of the Danish crown. The composition is densely engraved in the Baroque manner, with each subordinate shield carefully detailed. The circular legend in Latin, divided into four segments by the shield arrangement, reads DVX SLES HOL STOR DITM COM OLD & DELM, separated by pellets, all within a beaded border. |
