| Reverse description | The central device displays the quartered Danish royal arms within a circular shield surmounted by a royal crown with elaborate Baroque scrollwork and foliate mantling surrounding the escutcheon. The upper-left and lower-right quarters bear the three passant lions of Denmark amid hearts; the upper-right quarter depicts the lion rampant of Norway; the lower half features three crowns representing Sweden. The circumferential Latin legend DOMINVS * PROVIDE BIT * reads around the field, with the date 1667 and the mintmaster's initials FCH appearing respectively in the legend and at the base of the reverse below the shield. |
