| Obverse description | Armored and draped young bust of King Frederik III with long flowing straight hair, facing right, set partially within a beaded inner circle. The king is depicted in a youthful effigy wearing plate armor with decorative details visible at the shoulder. A crowned legend in Latin capitals encircles the bust in the outer field, separated from the inner circle by a beaded border. The overall portrait style reflects mid-17th century Northern European baroque engraving tradition. |
