Obverse description Central field dominated by the elaborately interlaced double crowned royal cypher of Christian VII, formed by two mirrored letter C's intertwined with the numeral VII, surmounted by a large royal crown. The monogram is rendered in high relief with fine decorative detail. A circular legend in Latin encircles the design along the toothed rim, abbreviating the king's full royal titles.
