Reverse description A crowned oval heraldic shield bearing the combined arms of Denmark, Norway, and the Gothorum-Vandalorum domains occupies the central field. The denomination '1 RIGSDALER SPECIES' is inscribed above the shield in a semicircular arrangement. The date is split into two parts on either side of the mintmaster's initials, which appear below the shield in the lower field. The crown above the shield is rendered with fine detail, and the overall composition is symmetrical and formal in character.
