Obverse description Central device features the interlaced royal cypher of Christian VII — two mirrored script 'C' letterforms intertwined with the numeral '7' — rendered in high relief within an open field. The monogram is surmounted by a large royal crown with arched bands and cross finial. A continuous Latin legend encircles the design along the raised rim, reading clockwise from the upper right.

Reverse description Central device consists of a crowned oval shield bearing the quartered arms of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, encircled by a wreath of laurel branches tied at the base. The royal motto is inscribed in a continuous legend around the wreath, while the date is divided by the mintmaster's initials below, flanking the shield at the exergue line. The overall composition is formal and heraldic in character, typical of late 18th-century Danish coinage.
